14. Strava and Connected Fitness Platforms
If you choose to connect your Strava account to Extrov (including the ExtrovGo app), we receive activity data that Strava shares with us when you authorize the connection.
What we receive (only after you connect):
Strava athlete identifier
Activity name, type (e.g. run, ride, walk), distance, moving time, elevation, start time
Optional calories and related activity metadata provided by Strava
How we use it:
To display your activities on the Extrov community feed inside ExtrovGo
To support virtual events, social features (e.g. kudos), and your profile statistics on Extrov
How it works: After you authorize Strava, Strava may notify our servers when you complete a new activity (webhook). We then fetch that activity and may publish it to your Extrov feed. We do not continuously poll Strava for all users.
Control: You can disconnect Strava at any time in ExtrovGo / account settings. Disconnecting stops new imports. You may also revoke access in your Strava settings under authorized apps.
Your use of Strava is also governed by Strava’s Privacy Policy and terms. Extrov does not sell your Strava data.
